Cecil is the main character of FF4. He is the captain of Baron's Red Wings, though a Dark Knight he has a good heart and begins to question King Baron's motives. Because of this he is chrged with treason and bgins his quest to overthrow Baron's evil leader.

Kain is the captain of Baron's Dragoons. Though the king wanted him to become a Dark Knight he chose to fallow in his father's footsteps and become a Dragoon. Kain secretly loves Rosa, Cecil's girlfriend, which leads him to envy Cecil. Cid from Final Fantasy VII, is a decendant of Kain.

Rydia is a Caller, a type of wizard that can summon monsters and other magical creatures. Msot of them live in the village of Mist, and for this reason King Baron tries to destroy the town. Rydia joins Cecil in order to defeat King Baron who is responsible for her mother's death.

Tellah was once a well reknowned Sage, a poweful wizard with strong White and Black Magic spells. Due to his old age though he has forgotten most of those spells. When you first meet up with Tellah, he is searching for a way to find his daughter, who has run away and eloped with her love.

Edward is the Prince of Damcyan, who disguised himslef as a Bard on his visits to see Anna, Tellah's daughter. Kign Baron bombed had the Redwings bomb Damcyan, destroying his kingdom and killing Anna. Although, he is quite cowardly he agrees to go with Cecil.


  Rosa Farrell

Rosa is Cecil's girlfriend, who goes off in search of him after he departs for the Village of Mist. In her search for him she catches a very deadly fever, which can only be cured by the Sandruby. After Rosa is healed she joins up with Cecil to help defeat King Baron.

Yang is the head Karate master in Fabul. He meets with Cecil on Mt. Hobbs while fightin off some Bomb monsters. After Cecil explains to him King Baron's plans and that Fabul may also be attacked by the Red Wings Yang agrees to help him.

Palom lives, along with his twin sister, Porom in Mysidia. The Elder assinged him and Porom to help Cecil on his ascent of Mt. Ordeals. Contrary to Porom, Palom is actually very rude and annoying most of the time. After Mt. Ordels the twins continue to help Cecil.

Cid is the Chief mechanic and engineer for Baron, he is also the one who developed the airships in the first place. Cid became imprisoned afte rhe spoe up against the King's actions. After Cecil and his team free Cid he joins them as well.

Edge is the Ninja prince of Eblan, and thinks himslef to be quite the lady's man. Hs kingdom has been forced into hiding due to the Red Wings, and later the same forces are responsible for his parents' deaths. Because of this he joins Cecil and his team.

FuSoYa is a powerful Lunar and wizard. He has a connection to Cecil and knows him from past days. FuSoYa joins Cecil's team very late in the game and for a fairly short ammount of time, he joins to stop the forces that threaten to destroy the planet itself.
